Charge Rocket is a charge-and-release explosive Weapon that rewards precise timing over continuous fire. Unlike Missile Rack or Storm Rack, it doesn't fire instantly. Instead, you hold the fire button to load rockets, and then release to unleash a devastating volley.
Best Mechs for Charge Rockets:
1. Outlaw.
2. Deathwalker.
3. Eclipse.
Essential Control & Aim Settings:
- Minimal Aim Assist: Switch to Minimal Aim Assist in Settings. This mode causes Weapons to fire to the side of the Mechs instead of directly locking on them.
- Custom Control Settings: Go to Settings and set custom controls according to your preferred play style. Use a 3 or 4-finger setup. Map fire buttons so your right thumb and right index finger can hold/charge left and right rockets independently while your left hand manages movement and sliding cover. After the rockets are charged, fire them at your enemy Mechs by releasing your right thumb and right index finger, and hide in cover.
Combat Tactics & General Suggestions:
1. Always hide in cover.
2. Don't rush too quickly.
3. Practice timing and experiment with different Mechs in Custom Matches!
