Modifiers are unique gameplay variables that change the standard rules of combat in Mech Arena. They are designed to keep battles fresh and exciting by adding specific buffs to Mechs or Weapons, or environmental effects to a match.
How to Unlock Modifiers
The Modifiers feature becomes available to all players once they have:
- Completed the Tutorial
- Unlocked the 5v5 Deathmatch game mode
Once unlocked, you will be able to profit from the Modifiers in the battles.
Use of Modifiers
Modifiers allow you to improve your output in the battles by adapting your Hangar to the current upgrades.
A Modifier might increase Weapon reload speeds, Damage, boost the HP of certain Mech classes, or reduce Ability cooldowns. This encourages you to use Mechs or Weapons that you might not normally pick for your main Hangar.
Matches featuring Modifiers are often tied to Event Objectives, offering you a path to earn extra Credits, Blueprints, or A-Coins.
Recommendation:
Always check the Modifiers before hitting the Battle button. Knowing whether Sniper Damage is boosted or Ability Cooldowns are halved can be the difference between a crushing defeat and a dominant victory!
